What You Will Be Doing

-Researching the latest web trends and technologies, and making recommendations on how they can be leveraged for future development
-Developing the next generation of our web application platform
-Working with user experience specialists and product management to create compelling front-end web experiences using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript™ in a web standards compliant manner
-Applying test-driven development practices in an agile setting, including deploying and maintaining automated unit tests and functional tests
-Implementing continuous deployment for cloud-based infrastructure
-Assisting in the maintenance of commercial releases

What You Need for this Position

-Degree in computer science or a related field
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-At least 6 years of JavaScript development experience
-Experience in developing web applications presentation layer using the latest tools
-Experience in writing automated tests, knowledge of BDD/rspec style and Jasmine in particular would be an asset
-Knowledge of HTML5 Canvas would be an asset
-Experience with shell scripts would be an asset
-Strong JavaScript experience with HTML5 and CSS3
-Experience working with Linux®/Unix® shell environments
-Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, Jenkins/Hudson/Team City
-Familiarity with cloud-based hosting such as Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services
-Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery
