Job Objective: To provide on-site project management support coordinating efforts between client, SGS facilities, and other parties in the supply chain (printers, design firm, buyer, etc).
Primary Responsibilities:
· Effectively communicate all prepress requirements for client to SGS facilities.
· Maintain accurate status report for all active and upcoming projects utilizing SGS and client systems.
· Create all project estimates per standard procedures, distribute estimates to supply chain, and obtain purchase orders for all work performed by SGS.
· Proofread and communicate all approvals and/or artwork changes within the supply chain.
· Gather all necessary job specifications from appropriate client resources and communicate to SGS in a timely fashion.
· Lead key date meetings to manage and communicate project timing and deliverables.
· Follow all SGS packaging production workflows.
· Build and foster an excellent relationship with client and the client supply chain to ensure account retention and growth.

Job Requirements:
· Thorough understanding of packaging graphics development – design thru print.
· Thorough understanding of brand color management and color communication.
· Minimum of a two year degree or equivalent experience in the graphic arts industry.
· Minimum of 3 yrs. exp. in project management in the prepress or design agency industry, with heavy packaging exp. as well as a very strong flexo knowledge base.
Understanding of special print applications – varnishes, foils, embossing.

· Ability to collaborate with a variety of people and personalities from operations to marketing to senior executives.
· Logical and conceptual thinking skills to correlate job specifications; excellent decision making skills.
· An understanding of computers and graphics related software is extremely beneficial.
Prior desktop experience highly desirable. Software would include: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
