Network Operations & Security Center (NOSC) Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Remote Access Services (RAS) Move/Add/Change (MAC) Support Lead. Five to nine (5-9) years experience in network and transport service management. Under limited supervision, leads and manages the day-to-day activities of IP network and transport service moves, adds and changes. Demonstrates knowledge of and skill with Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layers 2 through 4, and of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident, problem, change, and availability management. Evaluates and responds to configuration change requests to move, add or change network equipment. Creates new and modifies existing network interfaces as required, and implements new or revised network designs. Applies firmware and software updates to network and transport components in support of MACs. Evaluates and responds to change requests by assessing, planning, and executing network MACs. Monitors, collects measurement data, and reports on service level attainment. Monitors and enforces network and transport service security, integrity and business continuity controls. Supports planning and execution of special network and transport service projects.
