JOB DESCRIPTION:

Karper Logistics Inc., Chambersburg PA is currently seeking a highly motivated Sales/Marketing Manager to become an integral part of our management team.

Karper Logistics Inc. is a 3rd party logistics company.  Karper has been a trusted name in transportation since 1929 and is family owned and operated. Karper Logistics Inc's sister company is Charles W. Karper Inc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·         Bachelor’s Degree required

·         At least 4 years sales or marketing leadership/experience

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with multiple levels in support of customer relations

·         Superior relationship building skills, goal oriented, humor and creativity

·         Transportation or Logistics background preferred but a qualified candidate could be trained in this field

·         Superior skills in marketing and sales advertising

·         Consultative sales approach and negotiating skills

·         Must demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles

·         The ability to seek out and secure a carrier base to service new accounts

·         Ability to manage other sales representatives 

·         Willing to travel to meet customers in person

·         Excellent communication and presentation
