We have a great contract/temporary opportunity for an HR Assistant job with one of our most respected clients located in the Houston Galleria area. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of human resources or payroll support experience. The HR Assistant will be responsible for putting together open enrollment packets, performing payroll/timekeeping data entry into PAYCHEXsystem and assisting with a large scale onboarding project for 400+ new hires. The pay rate for this position is $15-16/hr DOE.
The work schedule for this position is Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:30 or 9-6 (flexible).
This is a 3 month contract/temporary position.
The HR Assistant job duties include:
- Data Entry into PAYCHEX system
- Keying in employment applications into system
- Putting together open enrollment packets for benefits
- Assisting with new hire orientations and onboarding activities for 400+ employees
- Answering incoming calls
- Filing/faxing/copying documents
- Other clerical duties as needed
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous PAYCHEX experience required
- Previous ADP experience a plus
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlookrequired
Pay Range ? $15-16/hr DOE
