ELECTRIC DSM & DEMAND RESPONSE REPRESENTATIVE
JOB PURPOSE:
To promote Vectren’s electric demand side management (DSM) and conservation programs within the residential sector to meet the energy savings and educational goals set forth annually.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Serve as Vectren’s representative for the day-to-day activities of the statewide Core Programs effort. Coordinate all activities of Vectren’s Demand Response programs. Support the day-to-day activities surrounding Vectren’s electric DSM and conservation programs. Use technical skills to advise customers on energy savings potential. Assist in establishing and maintaining strong trade ally relationships. Support staff in assisting customers in identifying areas where energy can be used more efficiently.
Stay abreast of new energy saving technology/equipment. Assist in development of new DSM & conservation programs. Serve as a key energy advisor for customers and trade allies. Represent Vectren’s interests in community and trade organizations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
BS/BA degree in sales, marketing or related field.
Preferred:
Masters degree in sales, marketing or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
2 - 4 years of experience in energy-related field.
Preferred:
5+ years of experience in energy-related field.
Functional/Technical Competency Requirements
Required:
Customer focused, self-starter, results oriented, problem solver, detail oriented, strong leadership skills, team oriented. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Detailed knowledge of utility processes and procedures.
