These are 2 of the vital signs we’re looking for in this highly energetic and self-motivated RN who joins the Emergency Services leadership team atCarroll Hospital Center! Our progressive community hospital in historic Westminster, seeks this Maryland-licensed RN to play a vital role in the building, maintenance and training of Information Services supporting Emergency Services operations.
In this highly visible role as Emergency Department IS Coordinator, duties include monitoring unsigned charts, developing/maintaining electronic nursing documentation coding and generating quality as well as financial reports. Functions involve planning and executing training and developing instructional material for clinical end users.
To qualify, you must be highly organized and PC proficient with impressive knowledge of quality performance improvement in addition to:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MSN or Masters in Informatics preferred
- Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience in Emergency Services essential
- American Heart Assocation CPR for healthcare provider certification
- ACLS essential; PALS and CEN preferred
- Familarity with Microsoft Office and impressive ability with spreadsheets, databases and publication software will be vital
