The company is in growth mode right now with almost 500 major clients around the nation. To meet the expanding demands they are adding a billing analyst to assist in their high volume billing department. The pay is $14 to $16 per hour and the company is located downtown with paid parking. Additional responsibilities will include entering in new contracts, creating invoices, and reconciling billing accounts. General accounting knowledge through a college education or experience is needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fixed fee and variable monthly billing
- Entering contracts and updating amendments
- Account reconciliation
- Comply with SOX
- Cross train with others and across departments
- Complete special projects as needed
- Accounting Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Understands fundamental accounting concepts and procedures
- Sound knowledge of billing systems
- Experience with PeopleSoft and/or SAP preferred
- 3-5 years functional billing experience preferred
- Expert Microsoft Excel use ? pivot tables as an example
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Strong team player and willingness to take on new projects
- Above average planning, organization and time management needed
- Very detailed oriented
