About the Job

Arvin Community Services District (District) is

seeking to contract with an attorney of legal firm to serve as the General Legal Counsel for the

District. The District invites interested law firms or individuals with a minimum of six (6) years in

public law experience representing special districts, water districts or other local governments to

submit a written proposal to provide general legal services. As General Legal Counsel (Legal Counsel), the selected law firm or individual will be expected to provide a broad range of general services to the District. The District's Legal Counsel is selected to work as an independent contractor by the Board of Directors and works closely with the General

Manager. The Legal Counsel's primary role is to provide expert legal advice to the District's Board of Directors, General Manager and attend all Board meetings.
