We have a contract ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT job with one of our most respected clients located in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least two (2) years of experience in an administrative/office support role. The pay is from $12.00 to $16.00 an hour, depending on experience.
Administrative Assistant job responsibilities:
- Handle request for information, maintain electronic and hard copy files and process data
- Record and compile minutes and distribute them accordingly
- Retrieve files for various departments
- General clerical duties including faxing, mailing, photocopying and answering phones
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Schedule and coordinate travel, meetings and appointments
- Modify and prepare documents and reports including correspondence, graphs, data entry,e-mails and memos
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have at least two years of experience in a fast pace working environment
- Advanced organizational skills
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written

Education:
- High school education required; college hours or degree preferred
