Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA,  is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Team Coordinator position in the Ambulatory Surgical Center.
The Team Coordinator will assist the manager in fast a paced Ambulatory Surgery Center.  Duties include, but not limited to, audits, staffing schedule, working with physicians and sales reps for planned cases, running an OR schedule, knowledge of Pre-Op,  PACU and SPD, and computer knowledge of the several programs used in Surgical Services.  Hours vary.
Job Summary/Purpose:
Provides clinical leadership to care team members, allowing staff to plan, direct, manage outcomes and evaluate care.  Collaborates with Clinical Manager in outcome management and quality monitoring process.  Provides first line supervision for teams in focused operational work area.
Minimum Qualifications:
            Education:       Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.  BSN preferred
            Experience:       Three years current experience in related specialty, OR experienced required

            Licensure:         Currently licensed to practice as a RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
             Other:                Must meet basic RN competencies
