Location: Redlands, CA
The Sr. Customer Service Representative coordinates the daily activities of the Customer Service Department.
Responsibilities:1. Perform all the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative.
2. Responsible for training new employees on department and MTF policies and procedures.
3. Must maintain technical/medical knowledge on the uses and properties of human tissue to advise and respond to customer and co-worker’s questions regarding Allograft Tissue, processing, tissue specifications, tissue availability, service fees and general order processing questions.
4. Brings to the attention of supervisor any deficiencies in personnel performance so that re-training can be initiated.
5. Compiles Customer Service monthly statistics and maintains spreadsheets.
6. Coordinates personnel to assure there is proper department coverage during vacation and sick time.
7. Identifies problems as it relates to IT, Shipping and Receiving, Accounts Receivable, Account Specialists, business partners and brings to attention of supervisor for discussion and resolution.
8. Assists in writing and updating department SOP’s.
9. Assists in testing ERP upgrades and enhancements.
10. Assures housekeeping tasks are being completed on a regular basis.
11. Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.
High School diploma
Experience:
Four plus years experience in Customer Service in tissue banking or regulated medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing or distribution environment. Internal candidates must receive two consecutive Exceeds Some Standards on merit review.
Specific Licenses and/or Certifications:
Specialized Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities*:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have leadership skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
