Sr. B2B Segment Marketing Manager-Advantage Programs
When T-Mobile USA, outlined the company's reinvigorated "Uncarrier" strategy focused on making amazing 4G services affordable, four areas of investment were highlighted:
As a leader within a core strategic growth area for T-Mobile, you will identify business opportunities to drive revenue and to meet key enterprise strategic objectives. As the Sr. B2B Segment Marketing Manager - Advantage Programs you will drive B2B (business-to-business) marketing programs and initiatives from strategy development through execution and value creation. You will also lead the ideation, development, and implementation of major B2B marketing initiatives that maximizes Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI). There will be a special focus on creating compelling & effective B2B marketing programs focusing on assigned segments to drive acquisition, retention, or loyalty. As part of the role, you will be expected to form strong cross functional partnerships to align on creating and communicating compelling value propositions. Groups will include sales and channel teams, marketing planning teams to align to overall B2B marketing calendar elements, pricing and channel steering teams for potential promotion/pricing strategies, business tracking and analysis for customer insights, customer insights on market research, and the products and solution teams on product roadmap requirements and alignment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Owns the development and implementation of B2B marketing programs targeting the Advantage Program segment (corporate customers that are purchasing individually under BYOD and corporate discount programs) to deliver awareness, qualification, and conversion results across all mediums, channels, and products/services.
- Partners effectively with key stakeholder groups across both the B2B organization and the greater enterprise to accomplish goals.
- Collaborate with greater B2B marketing team, external partners, and cross-functional internal teams to define and deliver a BYOD program to capture corporate customers purchasing individually
- Partner with customer insights and marketing planning and analysis to understand customer needs, wants and behaviors to create effective B2B marketing programs/campaigns that drive customer growth, revenue, customer experience, and loyalty.
- Define in detail and create with passion a superior customer experience that will delight customers
- Ensures tools and processes are in place and utilized to effectively track and report on the health of the Advantage Program segment and progress towards goals.
- Participate in on-going program definition and improvement activities including offer optimization, program structure, and maximizing financial contribution to the company
- Collaborate with the direct sales channel to optimize commission structures, product positioning, etc.
- Analyze customer experience, develop and deliver programs to optimize and improve acquisition rates and reduce churn rates for targeted segments
- Day-to-day liaison with agency partners
Requirements
- Min. 10 years marketing experience including experience with direct sales channel marketing or business marketing program development and execution.
- Min. 5 + years B2B marketing strategy and program management / implementation experience including partnering with advertising, sales, research, finance, and operations leadership.
- Excellent ability to develop marketing plans and financial business cases and communicate succinctly their value propositions.
- Solid track record in meeting or exceeding individual or team based financial goals, including return on investment.
- Solid track record in leading others in the development and implementation of key marketing strategies including cross-functional teams, external partnership and senior level leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with all employee levels and levels of management.
- Must demonstrate proficiency and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with developing and managing vendor and agencies relationships to execute marketing programs and activities.
- Strong command of marketing and strategic frameworks (4Ps, 3C's, etc.)
- Solid business knowledge as it relates to wireless communications and consumer electronics.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
