QUALIFICATIONS:
Core:
Distribution Engineering, Distribution Cable Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its team. A Bachelor's
degree in Electrical Engineering required, an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. A minimum
of eight (8) years of related work experience that could include any combination of: high-voltage electrical testing
(preferred), power cable design and manufacturing, and/or power system design and operation. A self-starter
with excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills who can handle multiple assignments with
little supervision. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must possess good analytical
computer skill with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data acquisition software.

Core:
Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is
directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with
Company policy and governmental regulations. Commitment to the Way We Work Principles, and adheres the
Company's Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and
Safety ("EH&S"), Equal Employment Opportunity ("EEO"), discipline, and security. Designs, implements, and
reports on various electrical, mechanical, and material property tests performed on distribution system
components. Interfaces with the operating areas and other departments within Distribution Engineering to
provide the engineering expertise in support of various power cable reliability, installation and maintenance
programs. Serves as the company's expert representative to various industry or research groups, such as IEEE,
EPRI, and NEETRAC. Supports and/or manages various company R&D initiatives. Initiates and conducts
research projects to enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of the distribution system. Prepares
specifications and procedures applicable to the safe and effective operation of the Cable and Splice Center for
Excellence. As a subject matter expert, develop and present various training material for forums that include:
Technically Speaking Seminars, industry group seminars, and various department sponsored events. Assist with
distribution system component failure analysis

Distribution Engineering is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Associate Engineer A to join itsgroup. Candidate must have
a high regard for personal accountability, and understand the importance of commitment to excellence. The selected
candidate must demonstrate a high energy level and promote a positive work ethic in support of our corporate values. The
candidate must be able to exercise independent judgment and be able to render sound business decisions. The candidate
should be detail oriented, able to work under pressure and handle multiple concurrent assignments. Should have strong oral
and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers, support staff,
and various levels of management. Must be computer literate (e.g. good knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and
Windows operating system). The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a
minimum of 2 years of work experience.

The Associate Engineer —A assists engineers, Senior engineers, technical specialists, or other Distribution Engineering staff
in the performance of their tasks as necessary. Reviews and prepares drawings, specifications, proposals and procedures
for various Distribution Engineering projects. Conducts engineering studies including cost/benefit analysis of alternatives and
makes presentations on his/her findings. Provides guidance to Electric Operations personnel regarding operational and
maintenance problems. Assists Electric Operations Regional staff during various emergencies in assessing and analyzing
the impact of the emergency. Visits various Electric Operations' locations to monitor and improve specific applications and
procedures. Maintains state-of-the-art technical expertise and cognizance in assigned discipline area through contact and
interaction with leading experts in the technical community.
