Our client has an immediate need for a Mobility Support Analyst at its facility in Downtown Seattle.

This position assists staff in their corporate office and remote locations with technical support of wireless devices, BYOD, applications and other related mobile technology. Support includes resolving user issues and testing of mobility systems and peripherals within established guidelines.


This highly visible position will be responsible for resolving medium to complex end-user issues. In addition to providing end-user support, it is the responsibility of the technician to assist with the identification of trends in the mobility environment, and participate in testing of resolutions. Activities will require interaction with wireless providers, managed services providers, and global support teams to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. This role will also be responsible for understanding mobility technologies, local office environment configurations, and acting as a trusted advisor to the end-user community on their mobility experience.



• Understand and adhere to organizational goals and objectives.

Collaborate and coordinate with global team members, Enterprise Help Desk and Managed Services Provider technicians and technology vendors to ensure efficient operation of the company's Workplace Technology environment.

• Assist with testing and monitoring user experience and provide feedback to Mobility.

• Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or emails regarding Workplace Technology (smart phones, tablets, etc.) problems with company directed, standard processes.

• Provide Tier 2 end user support including login assistance, wireless device, computer troubleshooting, issue resolution and general wireless session problem solving.

• Work closely with the development and test teams to ensure issues are corrected and usability problems are understood

• Work with managed service providers and wireless providers to resolve technical issues.

• Assist with procuring new devices and ensure standard contract terms are applied.

• Assist with managing wireless inventory and loss prevention policies are in place

• Participate in the testing of new hardware and software to ensure all managed control policies are enforced and functionality meets company standards.

• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for high priority incidents after-hours.

• Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis and resolution of simple to medium level problems, and recommend company approved best practices for end-users.

• Assist organization with developing, maintaining and promoting procedures, policies, reports, and other documentation for contribution to the Enterprise Knowledgebase for the Enterprise Helpdesk and Workplace Technology Support Team to drive first call resolution rates.



Qualifications:


• 2+ years of Wireless Support experience with a strong background in Smartphone technology (prefer iOS)

• 2+ years of iOS experience desired

• Excellent customer service and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, ranging from technical support groups to senior and executive management.

• Basic knowledge of wireless hardware, networks and respective components

• Strong background in troubleshooting and superior analytical skills supporting users

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

• Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team

• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload

• Ability to be a team player and consistently promote the value of the services provided by the support team.
