Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations. Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida and Alabama.
This is an excellent opportunity for a results oriented HR professional to to develop and execute HR strategies to advance business objectives and provide high quality HR services, including compensation planning, performance management, staffing, succession planning, diversity operating reviews and other critical projects to Sikorsky's core functions.
Responsibilities include:
1- Providing HR support and serving as a business partner to the core functions.
2- Assisting in managing employee relations and other employee-related programs.
3- Supporting and driving key HR activities such as LDR reviews, compensation planning, policy and procedure interpretation, engagement and staffing for all core functions.
4- Assisting HR leadership in data gathering, interpretation and communication in support of presentation materials for senior management audiences

L6- BA/BS degree with 4-7 years of exp; MA/MS degree with 2-5 yrs of exp
L7- BA/BS degree with 2-5 years of exp; MA/MS degree with 0-2 years of exp
1. Work cross functionally and communicate across all levels within the organization
2. Be a self starter who can see projects to completion will little to no oversight
3. Possess strong business acumen to partner with, and support the objectives of the business
4. Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
5. Understanding of employment and labor law
6. Experience and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly powerpoint and Excel
