A Seattle based company is in search of a Facility Maintenance Manager with food experience. As Facility Maintenance Manager, you will be expected to maintain plant machinery and electrical as it relates to production efficiencies in meeting the objectives of the Sales Department and Management to maximize pounds processed. We need someone to manage and ensure all safety procedures are followed in OSHA, HACCP and ammonia operations. This position requires a resourceful self-starter with organizational skills and excellent knowledge of product, various processing techniques, production line setup, in addition to working knowledge of production.
We are looking for someone who has basic familiarity with government regulations and compliance issues, as well as food plant quality control and sanitation requirements. We are also looking for someone with PLC background, Frequency Drives and Electrical & Mechanical experience. You must be able to follow direction and make decisions under pressure, deal with constant interruptions, and remain flexible to meet changing priorities. SomeOT and weekends are required.This is a hands-on position. Selected candidate will be expected to work on machinery.
