Successful candidate will be relied upon to p erform a variety of engineering and design activities involving power plant upgrades and/or new power plant projects under the supervision of senior engineering staff. Successful candidate must have working knowledge of evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria. Individual will assist with performing calculations, modifications and designs. Individual will possess technical knowledge of digital/analog systems and ability to work on project teams with other engineers to assist with evaluating conditions, proposing modifications and developing design changes which will improve plant performance, safety and reliability.

All applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills. Experience in the nuclear power industry is desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Effective time management skills are required as position may involve working on several projects concurrently. Ability to pass security and drug screening, and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access is required. Successful candidate will be required to understand and comply with company policies, procedures and processes. Overtime work may be required at times.

Job Requirements


BS or MS in electrical, mechanical, nuclear, chemical, computer or process/controls engineering from an accredited university that includes course work in analog and digital control systems. Professional Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration is desirable.

Minimum of 4 - 6 years experience required with at least 2 years of those years with nuclear power experience. Knowledge of digital/analog controls systems is required.

Travel required to client sites with occasional periods of field/office work.
